This flipbook shows a propane and air mixture being ignited in a 20 oz coke bottle with a long nose lighter. The shot shown above was recorded at 2000 frames per second and the lid was broken into two pieces. I made the bottle combustion contraption while I was bored at college and away from my tools. The first time I got it to ignite well it was pointed at my dorm room ceiling. It hit bottle cap first which made a pretty good dent and the noise was quite loud. I decided it probably wasn't a good idea to shoot it in my dorm room after that.
